Jessica Rayner
Jessica Rayner (b.1985) is a British artist whose work examines the energy of 'things' within nature and the environment. She uses a range of media, including photography, video, printmaking and three-dimensional sculpture, to explore the idea of energy through objects, materials, substances and processes.
Rayner received a BA in Fine Art Painting from the University of Brighton (2007) and an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from the Royal College of Art (2012). She is the co-author of The Metabolic Landscape: Perception, Practice and Energy Transition, Black Dog Publishing, London, 2014. Recent exhibitions include The Bright Fields, OBS Gallery, Tunbridge Wells (2015); Moon Space One, R1 Reactor Hall, Sweden (2015); The Metabolic Landscape, Keele University Gallery and The Parkside Gallery, Birmingham (2014/15); WINTERREISE, Christine Park Gallery, London (2015). Rayner has also exhibited at Art Busan, South Korea (2015) and Multiplied Art Fair, Christie's, London (2012). She lives and works in London.
Gunwoo Shin
Gunwoo Shin (b.1978) lives and works in Seoul. Since his first solo exhibition at Kwanhoon Gallery in Seoul in 2006, his subsequent solo exhibitions include All Saints, Gallery Koo, Seoul (2015), Watch the Butterfly Falling, Shin Gallery, New York (2014), BLITZ, Gallery 2, Seoul (2013), Kaleidoscope, Gallery Hyundai Window Projects, Seoul (2011). Selected group exhibitions include Reality in the Reality, Art Space Jungmiso, Seoul (2014), Korea Tomorrow 2012, Seoul Arts Centre (organised by Hzone) (2012), House of the nobleman- The Return, Boswell House, London (2011), and Threshold to everyday-life, La Cave, Geneva (organised by OVA) (2010). Shin received a BFA and an MFA in Sculpture from the College of Fine Art, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea and an MFA in Sculpture from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London, UK. He also received the 'Land Securities Award' (UK) in 2009. His recent activities include his participation at Art Paris (2016).
Sangyoon Yoon
Sangyoon Yoon (b.1978) lives and works in Paju, South Korea. He received his BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Chu-Gye University for the Arts, Seoul (2004), MA (2007) and a Postgradutate Diploma (2009) in Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Art & Design, London. His recent solo exhibitions include Elysion, Yoonarte, Shanghai (2015), Mobius, Pyo Gallery, Seoul (2014) and Right & Left, Gallery Chosen, Seoul (2013). He is currently completing a residency at Hue Network Art Studio in Paju, South Korea.
